Brooklyn: Sponsorship Opportunities

News 12 Brooklyn advertisers have the opportunity to sponsor a variety of different segments such as 12 On Health, What’s Cool At School, Best of Brooklyn, Brooklyn Hotspots, Gift of Giving, and the West Indian American Day Carnival.

12 On Health: This segment brings Brooklyn residents the latest health headlines and lets them know how it might affect them in their neighborhood. 12 On Health is a daily feature on News 12 Brooklyn.

 What’s Cool At School :  Do you have a Brooklyn teacher that makes learning really fun?  Is your local class being taught how to run their own business?  Did you ever think that video games could dramatically improve the borough’s math scores?  Those are just some of the segments that News 12 Brooklyn presents to our viewers every third Wednesday of the month so they can keep up with What’s Cool At School!

Best of Brooklyn:“How about the good news in Brooklyn?”  Our viewers ask for it so we give them News 12′s Best of Brooklyn!  This weekly segment finds and introduces our viewers to the people in our borough who are life’s everyday heroes.  We also tell the stories of those residents who are living their lives to the fullest, achieving their dreams and helping others achieve theirs.

Brooklyn Hotspots: So many wonderful nooks and crannies in the borough, how to find them all?  News 12 Brooklyn gives the viewers a start every Friday morning with a round-up of what’s going on over the weekend and a quick tour of some Brooklyn “hotspots”.  These include local restaurants and businesses; interesting landmarks in the borough; those little, out-of-the-way places to visit; and some of the lesser-known, fun activities to do in the Brooklyn. 
 
Gift of Giving: The holiday spirit of Brooklynites is highlighted here in News 12′s Gift of Giving.  News 12 Brooklyn profiles stories such as the toy giveaway from the borough’s Bravest, the company that donated 500 hams for holiday dinners,  and the local students putting on a Christmas concert for senior citizens.  This segment runs at least once a week between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
 
West Indian American Day Carnival
This annual parade on Labor Day is the culmination of months of preparation by Brooklyn residents.  For the two weeks leading up to the event, News 12 Brooklyn covers the “Mas Camps” where the elaborate and spectacular costumes are constructed; the concerts and parties that take place over the several days before; the live-performance floats, the delicious food and irresistible music of the Caribbean culture; plus, the captivating children’s parade on Saturday!  It’s the biggest parade in New York City with over 3 million participants and spectators.  News 12 Brooklyn broadcasts live reports each hour from the streets, bringing the pageantry and energy of the party to Brooklyn homes.
 
Molly, Do My Job!
There are all kinds of jobs in Brooklyn, and News 12 Brooklyn’s Molly Rokasy wants to try them all!  She takes on the dirtiest, the oddest, and the most stylish jobs in the borough.  Molly, Do My Job! airs every Thursday morning beginning at 9am.
