Long Island High School students who excel at athletics as well as academics are profiled Tuesday evenings with some chosen to receive scholarships at the end of the school year.
Cool at School – News 12 Long Island introduces you to students, teachers, administrators, or classes who are doing something unique and interesting related to academics. What’s Cool at School airs every Monday.
The Download - News 12 Long Island’s Andrew Ehinger takes a weekly look at the latest, coolest, hottest, wildest, most interesting new offerings from the world of hi-tech. Every Friday, he showcases what’s turning heads in consumer electronics, software, computers, cell-phones and a whole lot more!
12 Making A Difference – Every month News 12 Long Island pays tribute to people who generously give of themselves to make life better for other Long Islanders. The segment airs on the last Friday of each month, and culminates with a New Year’s Day special showing all of the pieces from the previous year.
The East End – From Southold to Southampton and from Orient to Montauk, The East End spotlights the people and places that make this area a unique part of the island. News 12 Long Island anchor and East End resident, Doug Geed hosts this award winning ½ hour program. Additionally, The East End segment airs on Mondays.
Just Married On Long Island – News 12 Long Island wants to announce your wedding. Couples married in the past 90 days, can upload photos of the big day to the “Just Married on Long Island” album on News12.com. This fun “bumper” can be seen Tuesdays on News 12 Long Island’s Morning newscasts.
